Each coil is constructed using a special internal ripple finned tube. The combination of ripple finned tube and "Turbofin" has been optimized to give superior heat exchange coefficient. Therefore, Hitec coolers could be manufactured with the following benefits without loss of performance:
- Low motor consumption
- Reduction of internal circuit volume and refrigerant
- Overall dimensions reduced.
Tubes
Inner grooved helical, high efficiency copper tubes specially developed for the new refrigerants.
TURBOFIN® 2
Aluminum high efficiency fins with special turbulence, reducing dehumidification and frost formation.
Fan shroud and guard
Special attention has been given to the air flow path to provide uniform and aerodynamic air flow through the coil

Fan guard
All fan guards conform to the most severe European Safety Standards, thus guaranteeing maximum protection.
Fan motors
High performance and low energy consumption fan motors - life lubricated -thermally protected
- 3 ~ 400 V 50 Hz (4P )
- Motors and fans statically and dynamically balanced.
Suction pressure gauge connection
This allows for the checking of suction pressure and correct performance of the unit cooler.
Fin spacing
Fin spacing available to satisfy all refrigeration requirements:
- Range 3 fin spacing 4,5 mm
- Range 4 fin spacing 8,4/4,2 mm
- Range 5 fin spacing 7,0 mm
Casing
Steel galvanized casing with Epoxy- Polyester powder coating corrosion resistant.
Maintenance
All panels fitted to the unit cooler are easily removable to give all round accessibility and to make installation, cleaning or service much easier than traditional unit coolers.
Test
All coils are degreased, cleaned and tested to 30 bar test pressure.
